U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Miami Field Office is updating the trade community and traveling public on the status of the ports of entry in South Florida. Please monitor the www.cbp.gov website for updates and additional information.

Trade
U.S. Customs and Border Protection has resumed full operations at all ports of entry and cargo clearance centers in South Florida within the Office of Field Operations, Miami Field Office, with the exception of Fort Pierce Seaport.

Port of Miami (Seaport)
The Port of Miami is now open for all CBP passenger, trade and cargo operations.

Miami International Airport
Miami International Airport is open for all operations. Please contact airline operators for specific flight information.

Port Everglades (Seaport)
All CBP passenger, trade and cargo operations have resumed and are operating on schedule. Port Everglades is open for ship traffic subject to approval on a case-by-case basis by the Port Pilots.

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is open for all operations. Please contact airline operators for specific flight information.

Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport
Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport is open for all operations.

Port of Palm Beach (Seaport)
The Port of Palm Beach is now open for all CBP passenger, trade and cargo operations.

Palm Beach International Airport
Palm Beach International Airport is open for all operations. Please contact airline operators for specific flight information.

Port of Fort Pierce (Seaport)
The Port of Fort Pierce remains closed pending USCG post storm survey assessments.

Fort Pierce Airport
Fort Pierce Airport will resume operations at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2006.

Key West Airport
Key West Airport is open for all operations.

Port of Key West (Seaport)
The Port of Key West is open for all CBP passenger, trade and cargo operations.

Private Vessels
Private boaters arriving in South Florida must continue to report by calling 1-800-432-1216 or 1-800-451-0393. Boaters calling these numbers will be directed to the nearest location so they may report in to a CBP officer for clearance in person. These 1-800 numbers will be fully staffed 24 hours a day to take boaters’ calls. These numbers can also be reached from cell phones, even if the phone is from out of the area.
