CALL FOR PRACTICES: Improving Use of Prescription Medications

The National Quality Forum is pleased to announce the initiation of a
project, "Improving Use of Prescription Medications," funded by a grant from
The California Endowment. This project will review and evaluate practices
to improve patient medication adherence/compliance that are relevant to the
general population, with particular attention to practices that specifically
address the needs of low literacy and limited English proficiency patients.

With this notice we are seeking information about the broad universe of
applicable practices currently established or in use to improve consumer use
of prescription medications. The deadline for submission is April 13, 2004.
Additional information about the project and the call for practices can be
found at http://www.qualityforum.org.
