Walk Through Lincoln`s Life is a curriculum-based educational event scheduled to take place at the site on Wednesday, September 10, 2008, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.  Farming, weaving, blacksmithing, period re-enactors, basket making, yarn spinning, and rail-splitting are just a few of the planned activities that will captivate and educate students.  Military encampments were familiar sights when Abraham Lincoln and his family were living in Kentucky, and there will be living history demonstrations by soldiers in period dress.  Farm animals will be on site for viewing.
