the patriotism and call to duty that defines the Border Patrol as we protect America.  The ever watchful eye of the Eagle over the United States is our outward expression of constant vigilance confronting any and all threats to our way of life.

The waving American Flag within the banner and the imprinted year the Border Patrol was founded, 1924, recognizes and honors the proud history of the Border Patrol and our continuing pride in the men and women who dedicate themselves to service.

SIDE 2- Our sector’s area of responsibility encompasses a variety of geographical terrain.  The second side of the El Centro Sector Coin represents the Chocolate Mountains, the dunes of the East Desert, and the Ocotillo plant, which grows in abundance in our location.

The International Border Monument 211 adds a personalized mark to our coin, and The Department of Homeland Security Logo emblemizes our mission, as we are the first line of defense in securing the United States.
