Abstract:

Recent research on greater sage-grouse (Centrocercus urophasianus) genetics has helped identify some important characteristics. Genetic techniques are currently being used to investigate relationships among species, populations, family groups, and individuals. This figure diagrams the neighbor-joining tree of genetic distances for the eastern and western subspecies of sage-grouse per Wright 1978.

Purpose:

This figure shows the neighbor-joining tree for genetic distances for the eastern and western subspecies of the Greater Sage-grouse.

This dataset was created for the Conservation Assessment for Greater Sage-grouse and Sagebrush Habitats.
