This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 - THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. 45 CONS/LGCB has a requirement for transformer AC287M padmount 120/208; loop/feed 500 KVA; three phase, OISC, 60 HZ, 65 degree C rise, 13200 Delta to 208Y/120, dead front loop feed with wells inserts, 4 low voltage 6-hole spades, 4-position loop oil switch, oil level gauge and temperature gauge, drain valve with sampler, external tap changer, 316L stainless steel tank, cabinet and radiators, mineral oil filled, with bayonet fuses, secondary bushings have to be 30 and 37 inches high and primary has to be 27, 33 and 39 inches high; Mfg.: Howard Industries Part #: 500KVA or equal; Qty.: six (6) each. The requested delivery to Patrick AFB, FL will be approximately thirty (30) days after receipt of an order. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-09-T-0023 is issued as a Request for Proposal.
