CBP Canines Parade through Front Royal

"Best Appearing Float" (non-commercial) was presented to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Canine Enforcement Program for their float in the July Front Royal Fireman's Parade. As the parade made its way through the town it was obvious that the CBP dogs were a huge success. Spectators cheered as CBP vehicles along with the puppies from the "R" litter and the Puppies-in-Training from the "Q" litter made their way through the crowded streets.

"Our new 2-foot high trophy is prominently located in the lobby of our administration building," said Lee Titus, Director of the Canine Enforcement Program. "The whole training center (and their families) jumped in to help. The bigger kids have been coming in on their own a couple times over the last couple of weeks for practice and obedience training with the "Q" litter."

There were about 12 older children of staff members walking the "Q" litter puppies who were wearing blue jackets with the words "Puppies-in-Training" through the mile-long parade route. The trailer, decorated with banners and fencing held the younger children and the cute little 7-week-old puppies.
