APPENDIX B

Checklist of Passenger List Publications¹

Given below is a list of the principal passenger list publications mentioned in this book in the text and notes. It is not a bibliography (for which see Filby), but merely a checklist of the key books and articles underpinning the narrative. Since it includes most of the important publications that have so far been developed from passenger and immigration records, it is hoped that it can be used as a guide to basic books.
