SOURCES SOUGHT: The Bureau of Reclamation, Central California Area Office has a requirement for a firm-fixed price contract, to design and install a lanai/pergola style shade shelter that meets the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) at the New Melones Lake Recreation Area, Sonora, CA. The NAICS code for this requirement is 321999, small business size standard of $500 employees. Shade Shelter shall be Lanai/Pergola Style designed to withstand wind gusts of up to 40 miles per hour. Shelter must be constructed of materials that are insect, rot, and mildew resistant. Shelter must be stained or colored to blend with the surrounding landscape no paint must be used on the structure. Area to be covered is 26'x27'. Shelter must have no center poles or posts and be a minimum of 10' in height from ground level. Support posts/poles to be a minimum of 8"x 8" in size with 10' minimum spacing. Poles/posts to be set outside existing concrete slab and no cutting of concrete slab will be permitted. Cross boards to be a minimum 2"x6" in size. Support braces to be of a size and strength capable of holding the cross boards. Deliverable shall be a completed shade shelter installed at the Eagle Point Day Use Area.
