wood products (except establishments operating sawmills and preservation
facilities; establishments manufacturing veneer, engineered wood products,
millwork, wood containers, pallets, and wood container parts; and
establishments making manufactured homes (i.e., mobile homes) and
prefabricated buildings and components).


The data published with NAICS code 321999 include the following SIC

This definition comes from the 1997 NAICS manual. However, for this industry,
the 1997 Economic Census Manufacturing did not fully implement the conversion
to NAICS. Data for NAICS industry 321999 include establishments primarily
engaged in the manufacture of wood cooling towers, but do not include
establishments primarily engaged in the manufacture of finished metal moldings
for mirrors and pictures, semi-machined and fully-machined softwood dimension,
or cooperage headings. The NAICS definitions will be fully implemented with
the 2002 Economic Census.
