Law 6989 of November 25, 2003 amends the Act on Special Accounts for Registration. Aims to secure the sufficient amount of fund necessary for expenses to improve quality of services relating to registration, etc. for people in general by extending the effective period of this Act as December 31, 2003 is the expiry date of this Act which was enacted with the limited period of effectiveness for the purpose of establishing more registry offices and remodeling the old buildings of registry office, computerizing registration related systems, etc..
