Hotel and Travel Information

The 2009 DEER Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn Hotel, August 3-6, 2009.

Airport

There are two airports serving the Metropolitan Detroit region:

Detroit Metro Airport is located about 18 miles west of downtown Detroit on I-94 at Merriman Road. Detroit Metro is a Northwest Airlines hub and is served by its partners and international carriers such as British Airways and Lufthansa as well. The new terminal includes over 90 gates located in one facility as well as over 65 shops, restaurants and services.

Willow Run Airport is located at 801 Willow Run Airport. Willow Run is the largest commercial airport in Michigan and offers a variety of services including rental cars, transportation, and other services.

Parking

The Hotel has parking available. Self-parking is complimentary and valet parking is $15 per day (which includes in/out privileges).

Taxi Services

Taxi cabs to/from Detroit Metro Airport will be approximately $31 each way plus gratuities.
