The ADIZ should be removed. I hold a Commercial Certificate, Flight Instructor Certificate and an Instrument rating. I will not fly within 100 miles of the existing ADIZ. I also worry that an additional temporary restricted area will pop up while I'm in the air and I will be forced down by a military helicopter, or worse yet, an armed aircraft ready to shoot me down if I make a simple mistake. I feel sorry for the pilots and business people who have to deal with the ADIZ. The current ADIZ has hurt all pilots, controllers and anyone associated with flying. I'm sure it has had a very negative impact on the rest of the local economy. If the current ADIZ existed in Michigan I would sell my airplane and quit flying for good.
