Panorama with image 1753.  View of rocks exposed at the upper end of  the town of Morrison as seen from the Turkey Creek Road just above the  town.  The rocks shown in this picture extend from the Dakota forming  the hogback on the right down through the Morrison and Jurassic to the  Carboniferous.  The top of the Carboniferous shows near the base of the  Hogback on the east, but its most prominent member is a big white  sandstone over the cottage on the right.  The sandstones on the left  are of deep red or maroon color and they appear to rest on the  crystalline rocks of the Front Range, as shown in the picture.   Jefferson County, Colorado.  1926.
