  • In 2006, individuals under the age of 25 accounted for 44.5 percent of all arrestees.
  • Individuals under the age of 25 accounted for 45.4 percent of all arrests for violent crime and 54.1 percent of all arrests for property crime.
  • Persons under the age of 25 accounted for 49.6 percent of all arrests for murder and 64.5 percent of arrests for robbery.
  • Nationally in 2006, 28.5 percent of all persons arrested for arson were under the age of 15, the highest percent distribution for this age group of all offense categories.
