A doctor’s prescription is sometimes necessary for drugs that are sold over the counter in the United States. Pharmacists are very helpful and can suggest many over the counter medications for minor problems.

There are many private laboratories located in and around Luxembourg City. For all types of specimen analysis (blood, urine, stools) use these OR the laboratories based in the general hospitals.
