Position: GSO Assistant
Basic Function of Position:
Handles post’s leasing program, acts as the liaison between the landlords and the GSO, ensures that all property, both leased and owned is properly managed and develops and maintains post’s real estate files.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of secondary school required. Two years of realty office experience required
Level IV written and spoken English ability required. Knowledge of real estate and property management. Strong negotiating, scheduling and inter-personal skills required. Working knowledge of MS Office and NT operating system required.
Must be able to read and correctly interpret leases in order to determine what is allowable: Must be able to negotiate with Landlords and property owners
Keep work contacts with all public works entities, such as utility companies and MFA.
