This notice updates the General Procurement Notice published on EBRD Website in November 2006.

The Public Enterprise “Roads of Serbia” intends using the proceeds of loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for the following project:

• Belgrade Highway and Bypass Project,
Motorway (E75) section from “Batajnica” to “Dobanovci”,
km 188+680.00 – km 194+782.94,
Length L = 6.10km

The proposed project, which has the total estimated costs of approximately €55 million equivalent, will require the procurement of the following works and services:

• Design and Construction Works of the above motorway section;

Prequalification of tenderers for the design and build contract is expected to commence in December 2007. Tendering for the above contract is expected to commence in the March 2008.
Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the EBRD will be subject to the EBRD Procurement Policies and Rules and will be open to firms from any country. The proceeds of the EBRD loan will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law of official regulation of the Purchaser's country.
