Abstract	This report documents the testing of a top of the rail lubricant applied in computer-controlled quantities. The report describes the test criteria used to evaluate the performance of the top of the rail lubricating system, the instrumentation used, the test locations, and the track conditions. Results are presented from tests conducted on CSXT's Stileboro's 90 car coal trains. The significance of the results is discussed. Conclusions and recommendations are presented.
