TO COMMEMORATE THE CENTENNIAL OF FLIGHT AND BEYOND

Reston, Virginia
23 May 2003

In less than 2 months, the aerospace industry and the world will convene in Dayton, Ohio to celebrate the Wright brothers first powered flight and the century of achievement that has followed as well as lay the groundwork for the next 100 years of innovation at the International Air & Space Symposium and Exposition: The Next 100 Years, 1417 July 2003.

Organized by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and the International Council of the Aeronautical Sciences (ICAS), the symposium is just one of the many programs in the Evolution of Flight Campaign, AIAA¹s global initiative to commemorate the centennial of flight and to enhance the understanding of the contributions to society made by all facets of the aerospace community.
