One of the easiest and fastest ways to save energy at work and at home is to replace all incandescent bulbs with compact fluorescent light bulbs. CFLs are four times more energy efficient than incandescent bulbs and provide the same light levels. They can reduce energy use for lighting by up to 75 percent. Additionally, CFLs last about four to 10 times longer than standard bulbs.
