Alumni Get Together - "Welcome 2006"

The Fulbright Association of Singapore together with the Embassy’s Office of Public Affairs (OPA) kicked off the first alumni event of the year, “Welcome 2006.”  Over 20 members of the Fulbright community in Singapore, including Singapore Fulbright scholars and students as well as American students currently in Singapore, met and networked over dinner at the Public Affairs Officer’s residence.  It was an ideal occasion to start the year as the group continued to build bridges of mutual understanding between our countries as envisioned by the late Senator Fulbright.  OPA Singapore took the opportunity to present Fulbright certificates of participation to recent returnees of the program.
