Expenses for lodging are the responsibility of the C-TPAT participants. Please do not make reservations at the hotel until you have received confirmation of your attendance. The cancellation policy for the hotel is 72 hours prior to the day of your arrival. Please check with the hotel for complete details and cancellation policy.

Audience:  Open to certified members only. Attendees should be individuals directly responsible for the implementation of the C-TPAT program throughout the organization’s supply chains.

There are no vendor/consultant opportunities at this event.

Agenda:  The agenda will focus on the need to “Manage Risk in the Global Supply Chain” by strengthening the Customs/Trade cooperative partnership. Joint Customs/Trade presentations, panel discussions and concurrent workshops will be conducted. Many new topics will be discussed this year to include: Trade Association Roles in Supply Chain Security, Supply Chain Breaches and Positive Corrective Actions, Product Safety, TSA 100% Air Cargo Screening, CBP Initiatives 10 +2/ 100 % Scanning, Business Partner Screening and Mutual Recognition.

There will be no registration fee for this seminar: however, space is limited to approximately 600 participants on Wednesday and Friday and 1,200 at the General Session on Thursday.

Registration will be conducted via an on-line registration beginning Monday January 5, 2009 at 12 noon (EST). Attendees will be selected on a first come first serve basis and on the companies C-TPAT membership status. Attendance is limited to a maximum of (2) people per C-TPAT certified company. Members registering for the seminar must use their company name and their C-TPAT account number when submitting their application. Deviations from the approved company name and/or account number found on the C-TPAT database will not be accepted.
