Airline News : United Airlines Offers New Non-stop Flights
United Airlines is strengthening its international network by launching two new non-stop flights from the United States to Asia and South America. Washington Dulles to Rio de Janeiro
Effective October 2007 new seasonal, non-stop, daily service will begin between Washington Dulles International Airport and Rio de Janeiro. United's Washington, D.C.-Rio de Janeiro service will be offered on a B767 aircraft configured with 10 United First® seats, 32 United Business® seats and 151 United Economy® seats, including 71 Economy Plus® seats. Los Angeles to Hong KongEffective October 2007 daily non-stop service will begin between Los Angeles and Hong Kong, providing customers with not only a new gateway to HKG, but also direct service to Ho Chi Minh City and an additional connection opportunity to Singapore. United will operate the Los Angeles-Hong Kong service using a B747 aircraft configured with 14 United First® seats, 73 United Business® seats and 260 United Economy® seats, including 88 Economy Plus® seats.
