LOCATION.-Lat 38°23'35", long 119°59'53", in NW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.9, T.7 N., R.18 E., Tuolumne County, Hydrologic Unit 18040010, Stanislaus National
Forest, at outlet structure on upstream face of New Spicer Meadow Dam on Highland Creek and 7.7 mi east-southeast of Big Meadows.
DRAINAGE AREA.-45.4 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.-February 1990 to current year.
GAGE.-Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is sea level (levels by Calaveras County Water District).
REMARKS.-Reservoir is formed by rockfill dam with a reinforced concrete face completed in December 1988. Dam is 600 ft downstream from original concrete
gravity-type dam which was completed in 1929. Usable capacity, 184,298 acre-ft between elevations 6,420.0 ft, minimum operating head, and 6,614.0 ft, crest of
spillway. Released water is used for hydroelectric power and fishery maintenance. Records, including extremes, represent total contents at 2400 hours. See
