Artistry

The Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa includes a number of naturally talented artists. Supported by a diverse and rich heritage, these artists create art of the most exquisite and unique nature. Many of our local artists are well known nationally for their artwork consisting of sculptures, paintings, beadwork, etc. Some of these works are located at the White House in Washington, D.C., the State Capitol in Bismarck, North Dakota, and other states. We also have some very beautiful artwork that can be seen at the Heritage Center here in Belcourt. The new Comprehensive Healthcare Facility has interior decorating with paintings, sculptures, quiltwork, beadwork, etc., from our local artists. We have a beautiful sculpture located in front of our new clinic that was donated by one of our well known artists whose work is known throughout the United States.

There are many success stories about the growth and development of our people and community. We hope this information will entice people to come and view our hospital/clinic and community. We hope you will join us in our latest adventures.
