Walsh College of Accountancy & Business Administration is an independent, non-profit institution, founded in 1922. The College offers bachelor’s, master’s and a doctoral degree program in business and information technology. Walsh College is located in Troy, Michigan, a suburb outside of Detroit. Master of Business Administration

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree is considered the gold standard in business education. It is among the academic training programs most valued by employers. Backed by years of experience and excellence, the Walsh College MBA delivers a comprehensive understanding of the theories, concepts and practices that drive business and organizations. Students learn leadership skills and gain the strategic expertise necessary to make financial, managerial, technological and human resource decisions. Program Admission Requirements

In order to be admitted to the MBA program an applicant must have the following:

An undergraduate degree or higher from a college or university with regional accreditation. If the student completed the degree outside the US, we require an evaluation of the degree in US terms. We recommend a company called World Education Services, www.wes.org or Educational Credential Evaluators, www.ece.org.

Have a cumulative grade point average of a 2.750 or better on a 4.000 scale.

Individuals with a cumulative grade point average lower than 2.750 – but not below 2.000 – may be considered for provisional acceptance to the graduate degree program.

All graduate students are expected to be proficient in current computer software applications for word processing.

A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.000 must be earned while in residence – with a minimum grade of “C” (2.000) in each course counted towards graduation requirements.

International Students

Walsh College operates on a rolling admission. Interested international students can apply at any given semester. We generally recommend a minimum of eight weeks prior to the start of the term to ensure enough time for the visa processing and the traveling arrangements.

Walsh College is a private institution which means that tuition and fees are the same for all students, regardless of residency or visa status. The only difference for international students is the international fee which is $275.00 per semester.
