AMENDMENT DESCRIPTION:
Amendment provides for the transfer of Federal crime assistance funds to States that convict a murderer, rapist, or child molester if the criminal had previously been convicted of one of those crimes in a different State.
AMENDMENT PURPOSE:
An amendment no. 9 and printed in Part A of H.Rept. 106-186 to add the provisions of "Aimee's Law" that add funding to states that convict a murderer, rapist, or child molester if the criminal had previously been convicted of one of these crimes in a different state.
