U.S. Marshals Capture Alleged Child Molester

Phoenix, AZ – On October 16, 2007, United States Marshals Service (USMS) Deputies hunted down an alleged child molester.  Undre Demon Stewart, 23 years old, was wanted by the Tyler Police Department in Tyler, TX for three (3) counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. Deputy U.S. Marshals in Phoenix received information from Deputy U.S. Marshals in Tyler, TX alerting them that Stewart was in the Phoenix Area. After a brief surveillance Deputies located Stewart in an apartment at 44th Street and Ray Rd, at which time Stewart was arrested. Stewart was booked into the Maricopa County Jail and is awaiting extradition back to Tyler, TX.

On September 27, 2007 The United States Marshals Service and the Tyler Police Department initiated a joint investigation in an attempt to locate and arrest Stewart. Numerous leads were developed throughout the investigation that indicated that Stewart had traveled from Texas to Oklahoma on to Colorado and finally to Arizona where he was arrested.

United States Marshal David Gonzales praised the work of Deputies and law enforcement officers adding, “The United States Marshals Service will waste no time in going after these predators that prey on children, and continue to make it one of our highest priorities.”
