CHINESE IMMIGRATION

Angel Island Immigration Station Foundation. Angel Island is sometimes referred to as the Ellis Island of the Pacific Coast, and was a primary landing point for Chinese Immigrants. This site includes poems carved on the island barrack walls and other information on the experience of immigrants at the station.
