Subject: Genetically Engineered food products

Dear Reader,

Genetically engineered products should be tested extensively for
environmental and human health hazards before being marketed.  If
allowed to be marketed they should be clearly labeled as containing
genetically engineered ingredients.  To do anything less than full
diclosure through labeling would be shameful and immoral.  Consumers
have a fundamental right to know what they are buying and consuming.  My
family and I do not want to consume any GE products, knowingly or
unwittingly.  If the FDA continues to favor the greedy private interests
that foolishly develop these products, then sooner or later it will be
at the expense of human health and our already fragile environment. 
Common sense demands adequate testing.  Fairness and decency call for
complete disclosure through labeling.
