Children's Carnival

As part of the Children's Carnival at the KSC All American Picnic on April 15th, there will be a coloring contest for children 12 years of age and under.

Children, grandchildren, or close relatives (niece/nephew) of KSC employees (NASA and Contractor) who are 12 years of age and under and who live in the Central Florida area are encouraged to participate.

Only 1 entry per child.

Entries will be judged and winners placed on display at the picnic. All prizes will be awarded. Children do not have to be present to win.

Deadline for Contest: Finished drawings must be received by KSC-AAP Coloring Contest, DNX-8, no later than April 7, 2000.

CHILDREN'S CARNIVAL

The Children's Carnival area opens at 10:00 a.m. and includes a carousel, swings, rides on THE KSC SHUTTLE EXPRESS TRAIN, numerous skill games, and pony rides.

Also, children can enjoy clowns and clown acts. Face painting begins at 10:30 a.m. and continues until 2:00 p.m.

Popcorn, cotton candy and ice cream distribution are available at posted times.  A full day of fun for the children with plenty of prizes to give out.  Added for this year are three pinata breaking events at posted times for three different age groups.  Bring your children and enjoy them having fun!
