NASA, Mercedes-Benz to Help Small Companies 'Make the Connection' to Gain Federal and Industry Contracts in Forum Jan. 23

What: The NASA Southeast Regional Technology Transfer Center in Atlanta and Mercedes-Benz U.S International will host the 2006 NASA Regional Small Business Conference "Making the Connection" in Vance, Ala., Jan. 23. The event connects small business owners and entrepreneurs with representatives of government agencies and major corporations to exchange knowledge, experience and ideas about current and future opportunities for small businesses to gain government and industry contracts.

Byron Butler, deputy director of the Office of Procurement
Marshall Space Flight Center, Huntsville, Ala.

John Lansaw, Dual Use Program Specialist of the Technology Transfer Office
Stennis Space Center near Bay St. Louis, Miss.

Local, state and federal officials have been invited to address the attendees.

When: Monday, Jan. 23
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. CST; conference sessions start at 8 a.m.

Where: The Mercedes-Benz Institute
