- The phase structure of 3d Lorentzian quantum gravity is determined
as a function of the bare gravitational coupling constant by Monte Carlo
simulations. The system undergoes a phase transition as a function
the bare gravitational coupling constant and only one of the phases
are of physical relevant. In this phase a semiclassical background
configuration dominates the functional integral.
