Communicable Disease Investigator Training. Participants will discuss communicable disease investigations from the local to the New Jersey state level. Interested MRC volunteers will be offered future training opportunities on the New Jersey Communicable Disease Reporting Surveillance System.

Pandemic Flu Preparedness for the MRC Volunteer.

11/13/2008
Point of Distribution (POD) Exercise involving a number of agencies including the MRC. A full scale POD was set-up and an exercise was conducted.

10/15/2008
Introductory training focussing on Point of Dispensing Sites (PODS). Participants learn the basic concepts of POD operations and volunteer positions working in a POD

9/4/2008
Mass call down exercise involving Public Health Department employees calling volunteers for estimated response times to open POD within Sussex County. Out of 217 volunteers called, 97 indicated they could respond.
