This proposed ammendment is completely opposite to the intended use of the registry: the protection of citizen's privacy from intrusive and abusive marketing techniques. An appropriate amendment would be to further RESTRICT the "rights" of corporations and organizations to abuse actual citizens. My home answering machine was inundated with political messages during the last election season that my family and I had NO interest in. I continue to receive unsolicited contact from charitable organizations whom I might otherwise have contributed, had they not indulged in a home invasion. The right to free speech is NOT a right to assault! Frankly, you should be working towards criminalization of telemarketting and email spam, not assisting in the deterioration of homelife for the citizens the govenrment is presumably protecting.
