A   HERD   OF   FIFTEEN    HUNDRED   SHEEP Oregon produces annually more than twpnty million pounds of wool.   This wool ranks first for fineness and weight per fleece.   Many sheep are shipped from the State, a single shipment of twenty thousand animals has been made to the ICastern markets.
