In order to better reflect current cements fineness, the material selected for SRM 114q consists of a higher cement fineness than SRM 114p. Thus results in for 45 µm-residue are too low, NIST has developed SRM 46h as an alternative. SRM 114q is the only SRM with certified values for Blaine, Wagner and particle size distribution. The certificate dated September 15, 2008 was updated to refer to the correct section of ASTM Standard C204 under Stability and use.
