(WASHINGTON, DC) -- Representative Russ Carnahan (MO-3) has co-founded the bipartisan Congressional Bosnian Caucus with Representative Chris Smith (NJ-4).  This Caucus will direct Congressional focus to the needs of the Bosnian community, as well as foster and improve relations between the United States and Bosnia.

 The Congressional Bosnian Caucus will highlight various issues critical to Bosnia and its surrounding region such as diplomatic relations, humanitarian rights and religious freedom.  To achieve these goals, the Caucus will advocate policies, promote legislation and conduct briefings on vital Bosnian issues.
