Morphing Properties

Morphing is available for iImage, iSurface, and iContour.

Mathematical morphology is a method of processing digital images on the basis of shape. Six morphing options are available for use in iTools: dilate, erode, morph open, morph close, morph gradient, and morph tophat. All six options share the same properties. See Morphing in for details on morphing data.

For each property, the type of control and the values that can be assigned are listed. For a description of how a particular control is used, refer to Property Controls.

String List: The shape of the structuring element used in the morph operation. Choose from these values:
  • Square
  •  

  • Circle
Default = Square
Structure Width
Number: The width of the structuring element.
Default = 3
