In auditing gas analyzers, what is the proper protocol regarding how to treat a positive or negative zero point reading, when recording upscale audit points. Does one simply record the raw upscale audit value as is and use a fixed baseline of zero, or should one assume a floating zero baseline and subtract the measured zero from the measured upscale points(span, precision, etc)to obtain the net analyzer response? |
