Mission and Functions Mission The Office of Security Training Operations (HS-51) supports the mission of the National Training Center (NTC) by providing centralized and comprehensive security training for the Department. HS-51 manages the operations of the live fire ranges (LFR) and the Integrated Safety and Security Training and Evaluation Complex (ISSTEC) both of which provide training environments for performance testing and real world training scenarios.
