Danish Office Hours

Office hours are generally Monday-Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm, though there is some variation depending on the firm. Many offices and businesses close earlier on Fridays. Bank hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, with one long afternoon per week, usually Thursday.

The American embassy is closed for business on these and on official U.S. holidays. Note that the dates of Denmark’s spring holidays – Maundy Thursday through Whit-Monday – will vary from year to year.
