On March 13, 2007, Ambassador Richard Jones hosted a roundtable discussion at his residence as part of the Embassy's Distinguished American Speaker program. Guest speaker Prof. Kori Schake spoke about "An Effective Response to the Iranian Nuclear Program." In her presentation, Prof. Schake described a number of actions which she felt could improve the West's position vis-a-vis Iran and their nuclear program. Participants in the off-the-record discussion included senior advisors to the Israeli Ministry of Defense and National Security Council, as well as researchers from strategic think tanks.
