To whom it may concern: I have been a Quixtar IBO since it began in 1999, and in Amway before that since 1987, and I am absolutely committed to building a long lasting business. After I saw the presentation, I wanted to immediately sign up so I could get my business started. I then set up some meetings with the help of my the person who showed me the business opportunity. After my first meeting, showed for me by my long distance sponsor, I was ready to go and I did, showing presentations of the marketing plan. I used all the company supplied materials to give the prospect, showing income potential and regulations regarding rules of conduct. Unfortunately when you see the government required statements of income potential it includes people who got in but did nothing!!! I am not interested in talking to these people, they never tell you that they didn’t do only what they tried to do, I just don’t want to have someone opinion of this business who hasn’t built a successful organization. I have built a successful business which has allowed me to leave my full time occupation and I have also helped many people do the same. I know that to help someone it takes them trusting you and allowing you to help them. The most used reasons or excuses why people don’t make this work is that they listen to too many people who never built this but only those who got in or just those who simply have an opinion of “this type of business”. Forcing people to wait for 7 days unnecessarily slows down a process that already allows them to cancel their distributorship with a full money back guarantee if they should change their minds within 30 days. Waiting for 7 days to register would not have made any sense to me. This decision should be made by me, and me only, it doesn’t matter what 10 other IBO's in the area think about the business we all may have slightly different business models and I am not interested in what they are doing! I wanted to be sponsored by the person that showed me the presentation, I did not want anyone else to try and convince me to get sponsored by them. I am aware that every company will have lawsuits; there is no way to avoid that. As long as I knew that Quixtar was a solid company, and I could build a solid business powered by them, it doesn’t matter who sues them. Also, there are a lot of people who see the presentation, don't like the idea, and make false accusation about the company. Since I do not work for Quixtar, it is up to ME how much money I want to make. If disclosures were needed, it would not make a difference to know the average income of active IBO's. I want to make money, and want to expand my business to other people, I do not want to tell them how much I am making. If they understood the business, they would understand it doesn’t matter how much I am making, because it is up to them how much they want to make. My personal financial documents won't make a difference in whether they want to start or not. Please do not take away another of the very reasons this country was founded. Free enterprise is the very model of what this country stands for let’s not over regulate our future. Respectfully Wayne Callender
