To qualify for the rebuttable presumption exemption, used oil that is contaminated with hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) must be removed from the refrigeration units and the HCFCs must be destined for recycling. HCFC-contaminated used oil can not be mixed with used oil from other sources.
