 In recent weeks many studies have come out to reject studies showing that everything from eating a low fat diet to taking calcium are of less value, or totally valueless, leading the public to believe that many ways that we have each tried to carry on our daily lives on the most healthy course, could be bogus.



Please do not seek a court order to stop the production of HRT products.  Prempro is one of MANY products that one can choose.  I avoided using any HRT product for 2 years because I felt that I could easily handle my perimenopausal symptoms, which I seemed able to handle.  Thyen I stopped sleeping... for 3 years... never had a good night's sleep.  I may develop breast cancer from taking Prometrium (and now a low dose f estrodial) at age 75.  But I can tell you, it is a miracle that I did not kill mywelf, and others, in a car crash, or lose my job from poor performance due to a continuous lack fo sleep.



We are supposed to live in a country where we are allowed to make good, educated decisions after educating ourselves, speaking with our physicians, and reviewing all possible information.  At that point we should be able to make a decision based on that information.  Instead, the U.S. is becoming a place where we have fewer choices, (or possible no choice when it comes to abortion).  I think that HRT, taken on a short term basis, to assist  or relieve difficulty getting through a change of live, should be based on a patient and physiian's decision.



The FDA may decide to stop permitting the production of HRT.  But they don't seem to want to stop the production of tobacco, which casue a greater risk to the individual, those around the second hand smoke, and the cost of health care to the public due to other medical problems caused by smoking!



Please DO NOT stop permitting the production of and possible patient use of HRT.
