Dear Collaborators, *** ATTENTION: This is a reposting of this morning's release of *** CDFnote 3050 because the new PostScript file was incorrectly *** stored in CDF$PUB with a low version number. *** *** If you've already printed this note, please reprint it to get *** the newest version, which should be dated June 23. Sorry *** for the inconvenience. Version 3.0 of CDF3050, "Measurement of Z->ee + n Jet Cross Sections," is now available in CDF$PUB. This update contains results for a variety of new studies including jet clustering with a cone size of 0.7 and variations in the jet Et cut. We also present jet-level cross section predictions obtained by passing VECBOS Monte Carlo events through HERPRT and QFL. The abstract follows: The inclusive cross sections for pbarp -> Z + >=n jets have been measured using 72.9/pb of data from runs 1A and 1B. The event sample contains over 4600 Z->ee decays selected with tight cuts to ensure low backgrounds even at the highest jet multiplicities. The measured cross sections are compared to leading order and next-to-leading order QCD predictions (where available) for inclusive jet multiplicities n = 1, 2, 3 and 4.
