Switching to Submode 5 at 22:15 UT today then SUMER will open doors. * The recurring RFI interference during the last week or so is NOT from the MSG satellite - it must be from some other geostationary satellite - under investigation, and the time tagged recordings on Madrid passes will continue in the mean time. * Effective Monday 8 November 2004, the Main Lobby in Building 9 will be back in operation for processing visitors and employees. * US Holiday on Thursday 11 November. There will be someone in the SOC office from 14-22 UT. There will not be a daily meeting on Thursday. * An upgrade to the soho-archive will be happening from 10am-noon on Saturday 13 November. Connectivity will intermittent during that time.
