i am strongly OPPOSED to changing our retirement age. it is a fact that our mental and physical skills deteriorate with age. what we don't know is at what rate they deteriorate for each individual. until the medical field develops a testing methodology that will be able to determine a pilots health and fitness for duty as we age, any retirement age chosen will be arbitrary. please note how many of these postings site monetary reasons for wanting to raise the age. i.e. lost pensions etc. regards, Captain Thomas Peterson United Air Lines
